American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring an active Ohio or compact license and one year of combined specialty experience.

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift, three 12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Uses Epic EMR system
• Required to work at least every other holiday

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• NIHSS certification required, may be obtained prior to start
• One year of combined permanent experience in the specialty required
• Epic EMR experience required
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for, from an assignment within the past 12 months
• Will complete ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments during orientation with a passing score required (maximum two attempts)

• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for one year from their previous end date
• First-time travelers are not preferred for this assignment
