American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring OH or compact RN license and Epic experience.

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Required to work at least every other holiday
• Uses Epic EMR

• Active OH RN license or compact license in hand required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification must be obtained prior to start
• Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele specialty required
• Epic EMR experience required
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty (co-worker references not accepted)

• ECG rhythm recognition test and Safe Medicate assessment completed during orientation with a passing score required (maximum 2 attempts)
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Candidates with any open background check case will not be accepted
• Candidates with any professional license hits will not be accepted
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
