Full-Time Retail Sales Associate

We are currently looking for the right full-time retail sales associate to join our team. Pay ranges from $11.00 to $14.00 per hour
, with an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Our retail sales associates can earn UP TO 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $5.18 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff of the store to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. The role greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions, and to address customer inquiries and problem resolution.

The associate will work with jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.

The full-time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate earns hourly wage plus commission based on productivity; actual pay depends on location, qualifications, and experience.

• Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non-management open/close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays.
• Performs sales and loan transactions in line with policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Handles cash and negotiable items according to policies and procedures.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Effectively communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates with coworkers and managers respectfully and effectively.
• Partners with employees to create a positive customer experience.
• Completes assigned training successfully.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting, as required by law.
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• May be asked to assist customers outside the building or retrieve products stored in exterior areas.
• Minimum Age: 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, work with people, and be team-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations proficiently.
• Cash handling experience is preferred.
• Should be able to work in multiple locations as needed.
• Must have the ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.
