Heavy Equipment Operator – Waterfront Construction

We are growing fast and looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator who takes pride in doing work right the first time, cares about teamwork, and thrives in an environment where every day presents something different.

What You’ll Do

Operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently, including:

  • Excavators
  • Skid steers
  • Telehandlers
  • Mini track loaders and similar equipment

Assist in installation of docks, seawalls, bulkheads, retaining walls, and patio/hardscape projects

Load, unload, and move materials on waterfront jobsites

Perform daily inspections, minor maintenance, and safe use of all equipment

Follow project plans, direction, and timelines to ensure productivity and client satisfaction

Work as part of a small crew — jumping in wherever needed to keep the job moving forward

Maintain a strong safety mindset on land and over water

What We’re Looking For
  • 1–3+ years of heavy equipment operating experience (construction or landscaping environment preferred)
  • Ability to read grades, elevations, and work from layout lines
  • Comfort working around water and on floating work surfaces (we will train if needed)
  • Strong work ethic and pace — urgency in execution is key
  • Willingness to learn dock‑specific installation techniques
  • A team‑first attitude with strong communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license required (CDL is a plus but not required)

Work Schedule & Conditions
  • Full‑time | Monday–Friday (NO WEEKENDS!)
