Position Overview
We are seeking skilled Deck Builders to join our production team. The ideal candidate is hardworking, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be responsible for building decks and waterfront structures with precision and quality, while also upholding D2E’s commitment to safety, teamwork, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Construct and install decks, docks, patios, and related structures per plans and specifications.
Read blueprints, cut lists, and project breakdowns to ensure accuracy in execution.
Operate power tools, hand tools, and construction equipment safely and effectively.
Work with crews to complete jobs efficiently without unnecessary return trips.
Maintain clean, organized job sites and company vehicles.
Follow all safety standards and company policies (including uniform standards).
Communicate with foremen and team leaders to solve on-site challenges.
Qualifications
Prior carpentry, framing, or deck-building experience required.
Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and methods.
Ability to read and follow blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Must be punctual, accountable, and able to work well with a team.
Valid driver’s license Required.
