Crane Operator

• Qualification Guidelines:
• Job assignments may require a background check.
• Basic rigging skills.
• Education/
  
  Certifications:
• ValidNCCCO or NCCER Certification
• CDL license preferred
• Must hold a valid Medical Examiner Card
• Must comply with STARCON’s drug and alcohol policy.
• Able to pass physical examination, if required.
• Able toclimb towers through ladder cages, climb stairways carrying 20lbs of tools and/or materials, work from scaffolding at elevated heights, work in towers andvessels, work in excavations, extended hours on your feet on un-even work surfaces (dirt, concrete, asphalt, mud, gravel)
• Must be able to pass applicablesite-specific training. Knowledge ofrefinery and chemical plant hazards which may require special precautions and PPE, such as Sulfuric, H2S and HF.
• Mustundertake the appropriate safety/environmental training commensurate with the position and location.
• CPR and1st Aid training and certification, when required.
• Must be able to read and understandsafety instructions, signs, labels and permits in English.
