Permanent Highway Technician 1 (Stark County), PN

Work Location:
Stark County Garage, 4505 Atlantic Blvd NE, Canton, OH 44705

What You Will Do
  • You will serve the public and work to make the roads in Ohio safer.
  • You will perform highway maintenance activities; including flagging, pothole patching, repairing guardrails, litter pickup, mowing.
  • You will perform snow & ice operations.

Qualifications

Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction, decimals, percentages & fractions; ability to read, write & speak common English vocabulary; 3 mos. training or 3 mos. experience in operation of basic equipment. Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License with tanker endorsement without air‑brake restriction.
