Position Summary

A Truck Wash Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring that trucks and trailers maintain their aesthetic appeal and functionality. The position requires operating truck wash equipment safely and efficiently. The wash system used is a Whiting gantry system that can clean a tractor and trailer simultaneously. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, a keen eye for imperfections, and the ability to enhance the overall appearance of trucks.

Friendly, professional service to customers is essential.

Hours

Monday - Friday, 8 a.m.

- 4:30 p.m.

  • Operate and maintain truck wash equipment
  • Maintain supplies inventory
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage inventory of supplies and communicate reordering as needed
  • Operate pressure washers, vacuums, and other cleaning equipment
  • Inspect trucks for cleanliness and touch up as needed
  • Resolve minor problems independently and communicate effectively with the team
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Upsell wipers, washer fluid, etc.
Qualifications
  • High school education or its equivalent
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Ability to take direction well and give clear direction in a tactful manner
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional and friendly demeanor
  • Preference for ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical demands of position including walking, crouching, bending, standing
