COOK; PART TIME

Job Summary

Prepares food in accordance with applicable federal, state and corporate standards, guidelines and regulations with established policies and procedures. Ensures quality food service is provided at all times.

• Prepares high‑quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning and maintaining food temperature and appearance.
• Uses established ticket collection procedures during service and maintains accurate records.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and storing or discarding excess food safely.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed and assists in ordering and receiving food supplies as needed.
• Reports maintenance issues, faulty equipment or accidents to the supervisor immediately and attends safety meetings.
• Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers while performing the job safely in a clean, safe work environment.

• Prior cooking experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to work part time schedule; days may vary from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm.
• Capacity to follow HACCP standards and use proper kitchen safety practices.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
