Paramedic PRN Weekends – CORE Occupational Medicine – Pensacola, FL

CORE Occupational Medicine is a leader in occupational healthcare services for Fortune 500 companies, NASA, and other industry leaders. We are seeking an experienced Paramedic to join our team on a PRN basis, working 12‑hour shifts from 7 am to 7 pm primarily on weekends, with occasional weekday opportunities.

Position Responsibilities

  • Respond to emergencies efficiently and promptly.
  • Administer basic first aid and medical support to patients in accordance with federal, state, local, and company policy and regulations.
  • Assess the nature and extent of injuries/illnesses to prioritize medical procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with medical professionals and treatment facilities to obtain instructions regarding further action.
  • Communicate with client and site personnel regarding any worksite incidents, hazards, etc.
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork orientation and coordination.
  • Be cognizant of the constantly changing worksite environment and construction site hazards.
  • Ensure that quality, clinical standards are practiced at all times.
  • Document all findings and treatments clearly and concisely.
  • Conduct oneself in a helpful, dignified, and professional manner regardless of stress level and personal circumstances.
  • Assist Site Safety Managers and personnel in maintaining the safest and most secure work environment possible.

Position Qualifications

  • Paramedic (EMT‑P) state certification and/or national registry; must provide proof of reciprocity.
  • Previous EMT/Paramedic, first‑response, or emergency 911 experience preferred.
  • Flexible schedule: days, nights, and weekend availability required.
  • Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification; additional certifications are a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and employees.
