We are currently seeking a Systems Engineer, Senior to support the Mechanical Ground Support Equipment team in the development and refresh of mechanical support equipment for the FBM program. In this dynamic role you will:

Conduct systems engineering tasking associated with the development of mechanical ground support equipment requirements, design and testing.

Provide technical expertise supporting a team of systems engineers, including project leadership and planning.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineering, manufacturing, facilities, and program management, to ensure successful project execution.

Identify and mitigate risks, and implement process improvements and standardization to drive efficiency and affordability.

The information below reflects the standard job description for this position:
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT.Basic Qualifications Experience developing Systems Engineering requirements documentation within Jira, or Cameo or DOORS.Experience developing CONOPS, Requirements Matrices (RVTM), and Interface Control Documents (ICDS).Experience working with test teams for requirements development and verifications.

Mechanical Engineering experience and knowledge of engineering drawings and tools. Desired Skills Fleet Balistic Missile (FBM) experience.
