As a Security Officer - Cruise Terminal Patrol in Cape Canaveral, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cruise Ops, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated cruise operations areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a strong and visible presence. You will interact with guests and staff, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the cruise operations area and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor activity within the location, observing for unusual or suspicious behavior and reporting findings according to established protocols.
• Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials and helping to maintain authorized entry to designated areas.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and local authorities as needed.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and actions taken during the shift according to Allied Universal and site-specific standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
