Tax Manager - onsite in Cape Coral

Our client is a well-established accounting firm located in sunny Cape Coral, Florida, offering competitive pay, excellent benefits, and a welcoming company culture. We are seeking a highly motivated, disciplined, and skilled Tax Manager who is looking for an opportunity to excel in a small firm while maintaining a work-life balance. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing tax returns, working closely with clients, and mentoring mid-level staff.

This is an on-site position. One of the senior partners is transitioning into retirement, creating clear and rapid advancement opportunities for the right candidate.

• CPA or EA License Certification (Florida) preferred not required
• 7+ years of tax preparation
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting / Finance or a related field
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, strong ethics and business conduct
• Able to thrive in a deadline-oriented environment
• Experience working for a CPA firm required
• Applicant must be authorized to work in the U.S.

• Preparing financial statements and corporate tax returns (may also prepare some personal returns if necessary)
• Filing payroll tax returns and sales tax returns
• Assisting clients in resolving tax matters with the IRS
• Works as required during tax season to meet federal and state deadlines
