Accounts Payable Specialist; Pharma​/Biotech

A growing pharmaceutical company is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist. The company has several subsidiaries and a pipeline of cancer therapies heading toward a first commercial launch in 2028. It's now building the finance processes and systems to get there, including a new ERP.

• Process and code vendor invoices across multiple entities, match them to purchase orders, and get approvals
• Prepare payment runs and process ACH, wire and check payments
• Maintain vendor records, including verifying new or changed bank details
• Reconcile vendor statements, and reconcile the AP ledger to the general ledger
• Support month-end close: cutoff, accruals and AP aging
• Prepare AP schedules for the annual audit and support 1099 filing
• Help with the ERP rollout: vendor data cleanup, migration, testing and documenting workflows

• 3+ years of accounts payable experience
• Pharma, biotech or life sciences experience, strongly preferred
• Experience with an ERP or accounting system (Net Suite, Sage Intacct, SAP or similar)
• A solid grasp of AP controls, invoice coding and month-end cutoff
• Confidence in Excel
• Strong attention to detail, and discretion with financial and banking information

• AP across multiple subsidiaries, including intercompany transactions
• Experience of an ERP implementation or system change
• An associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business
