The FCS Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2011 and located at 5204 Paylor Lane in Sarasota, Florida. The FCS Foundation assists cancer patients across the state of Florida. Due to the generosity of the Florida Cancer Specialists partner physicians in covering all overhead expenses for the Foundation, 100% of donations received go directly towards paying the essential non‑medical living expenses of an adult battling cancer.
Want to make a difference in someone else’s life? Become a Patient Support Volunteer for the Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation. Volunteers brighten up a cancer patient’s day by providing non‑medical support while they are undergoing treatment. In the infusion area, volunteers offer a snack or beverage to a patient, hand out warm blankets, share reading materials, talk and listen, wipe down the infusion chairs, and help support the nurses with re‑stocking.
