Celebrating 29 Years in Southwest Florida and we are still growing! Physicians’ Primary Care of Southwest Florida is a premier multi-specialty primary care practice with locations in Cape Coral, Estero, Fort Myers, Lehigh Acres. This position is at our Camlet Pediatrics office in Fort Myers.

• Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures on patients
• Collect specimens in the correct container according to COLA requirements
• Ensure the correct recording and labeling of all specimens collected
• Clean, maintain, and stock phlebotomy area, draw stations, and patient restrooms
• Provide coverage at our satellite practice laboratories on an as-needed basis
• Maintain the strictest confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations
• Must have reliable transportation
• Work schedule is Monday - Friday with a Saturday rotation
• Pediatrics experience highly preferred
• Reliability is critical

• Great attention to detail and the ability to record information accurately
• Ability to develop and maintain a good rapport and a cooperative working relationship with providers, staff, and patients
• Knowledge of laboratory techniques and equipment to perform routine tests
• One year of phlebotomy experience required
• CPR certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
