• Demonstrates competency in EKGs, cardiac monitoring, and BLS protocols. Monitors cardiac/telemetry status and vital functions of all patients.
• Performs as a Unit Liaison, including physician communication, maintaining electronic logs, EMS radio support, and coordinating patient transports.
• Adheres to infection control policies and protocols to protect patients and employees.
• Other duties as assigned. Uses and maintains emergency equipment proficiently.
• Documents treatment and administered care in the electronic medical record according to established policies and procedures.

• High School Grad or Equiv (Required)
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)
• RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)
• EV Accredited Issuing Body, Emergency Medical Tech Cert (EMT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
