Community Resource Network of Florida is looking for a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable and committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their best life.

Independent contract position pays $15.00 per hour
.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday 10:00am-2:00pm, flexible.

• Have a positive outlook and contagious energy.
• Demonstrate patience and compassion.

• Encourage and support the individual during home activities.
• Assist with personal hygiene tasks.
• Prepare meals and perform light cleaning.
• Ensure the individual's safety and maintain a safe living environment.
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying the individual to social events and outings such as grocery shopping and appointments.
• Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization.
• Complete daily progress notes.

• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass local and Level 2 background screening.
• Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be 18 years of age or older.
