Job Description

The Bilingual Medical Assistant will support a specialty practice serving adult patients under the direction of a physician or advanced practice provider. This role will provide patient intake and education, maintain accurate clinical records, support routine clinical activities, and perform electrocardiograms while contributing to an efficient and patient-centered care experience. Professional development includes a clinical advancement pathway and certification support.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient intake and obtain vital signs.
• Collect and document comprehensive medical histories.
• Assist with clinical procedures, including electrocardiograms.
• Reconcile and document patient medications.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records.
• Educate patients on care instructions and clinical processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in medical assisting.
• Certificate or diploma in Medical Assisting.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential.
• Knowledge of electronic health records and medical terminology.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Experience with patient intake and vital signs measurement.
• Strong patient communication skills.
