Senior In-House Litigation Attorney – Epic, Madison, WI
Join Epic’s legal team as a Senior In-House Litigation Attorney. Your primary focus will be managing complex litigation and advising on regulatory, competition, healthcare, and related risk areas. You will handle and win multi‑million dollar disputes, minimize risk through proactive counseling, represent the company in high‑stakes legal proceedings, forge relationships with vendors and industry collaborators, and ensure compliance with U.S. and international legal frameworks.
Responsibilities- Manage complex litigation and counsel on regulatory, competition, and healthcare risk matters.
- Handle and win multi‑million dollar disputes, representing Epic in high‑stakes proceedings.
- Minimize risk through proactive counseling, drafting motions and briefs, leading depositions, and negotiating settlements.
- Forge relationships with vendors and industry collaborators to ensure compliance with existing and developing legal frameworks.
- JD with experience counseling toward risk mitigation, drafting motions and briefs, taking depositions, conducting oral arguments, leading settlement negotiations, and trying cases.
- Competition and regulatory litigation experience is a plus.
- Strong academic and professional background.
- Eye for detail, creative mind, and excellent communication, writing, and analytic skills.
- COVID‑19 vaccination required.
- Relocation to the Madison, WI area is necessary and will be fully reimbursed.
