American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Progressive Care Unit position requiring 2 years of PCU experience and a FL or compact RN license.

• Ortho/General Surgical PCU, 40-bed unit
• Patient ratios of 4:1, which may flex up to 6:1 depending on staffing and acuity
• Uses Epic EMR
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Floating required, with travelers prioritized to float, including to sister campuses

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
• Degree accreditation verification required, or 5 years of experience in lieu of accreditation
• Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing

• Travelers are expected to function as core staff and fully integrate into the unit culture
• Floating required, with high likelihood of floating to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility
• All requested time off must be submitted prior to start; time off requests will not be approved after submission
• No block scheduling requests allowed
• Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the facility and may not own or cosign property within that radius
• Orientation begins on a Friday, including remote orientation and an in-person visit for badge/
• Document deadlines are strictly enforced with no exceptions for pending paperwork
