Dishwasher - Part-Time

Gulf Coast Village is part of Volunteers of America National Services which serves as the Housing and Healthcare affiliate of the Volunteers of America parent organization.

Sunday through Monday working 12pm to 8pm, with rotational Thursdays working, 2pm to 8pm.

Sets up and cleans the dining room, maintaining or exceeding hospitality and service standards. Assures timely meal delivery and plate preparation.

Required Qualifications:

• Maintain Serv Safe Certification
• Able to meet the requirements identified in the Essential Functions
• Ability to pass drug, criminal and employment screenings

Preferred

Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience preferred

• Must be available to work flexible schedule to include nights, holidays and weekends
• Provides dining service to Residents, guests and family members as needed. Buses soiled dishes for care center and AL dining areas
• Prepares trays and serves food according to menus and following therapeutic diet orders
• Follows all policies and procedures relating to food service to meet or exceed community standards
• Maintains or exceeds standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards
• Follows daily and weekly cleaning schedules. Keeps work areas clean and maintains sanitary conditions. Maintains all side stations and dining areas using the “clean as you go” policy
• Practices all safety and loss prevention procedures
• Restocks supplies as needed
