• Be a Team Member:
  Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicates with team members; and is flexible to work in other areas as needed.
• Be an Expert:
  Demonstrates knowledge of floor operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepares meat products according to established standards (cutting, grinding, wrapping, trimming); maintains product quality standards.
• Be a Techie:
  Uses digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; uses handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
• Be an Owner:
  Maintains operational excellence, keeps work area compliant with policies, ensures quality and date control standards for meat products, secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise, eliminates waste, assists members with purchasing decisions, and ensures items are properly packaged, labeled, and stored per policy.
• Be a Talent Ambassador:
  Advocates for the department and club by delivering high-quality service and products; exhibits energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
• Complies with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity; applies related action plans and the Open Door Policy.
