This role is part of the store leadership team and oversees freight handling activities. Night Replenishment Managers (NRMs) supervise the freight unload, pack out, and pack down processes, communicate priorities, ensure nightly tasks are completed, and that freight moves smoothly throughout the store. NRMs teach, coach, and train associates on Home Depot policies and procedures, maintain a safe working environment, and make business decisions when they are the only manager available, following standard operating procedures.

They provide performance input to Store Manager and Assistant Store Managers and participate in the associate selection process.

Key Responsibilities
  • People – Provide in-the-moment coaching and performance conversations, recognize associates, conduct quality walks, ensure training completion, handle missed punches and schedule changes, and maintain store standards.
  • Replenishment – Partner with Night Operations ASM to drive efficiencies, supervise unload/packout/purge processes, execute quality walks, and keep the store ready at shift end.
  • Safety – Enforce safety and hazmat procedures, manage PPE use, educate on lifting techniques, correct unsafe conditions, and ensure all checklists are completed on time.
  • Shared Manager On Duty – Perform closing and MOD tasking, conduct hand‑off walks, validate store priorities, maintain equipment, and coordinate events and ads.

  • Requires intermittent periods of continuous physical exertion, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, and lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
