Commercial HVAC Technician

The HVAC Technician will repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.

Commercial HVAC Service Technician will perform annual maintenance & service on furnaces and air conditioning systems at residential and light commercial properties. Must be able to work independently including some occasional overtime.

• Maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Diagnose and trouble shoot HVAC system issues and make necessary repairs.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.

• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of HVAC systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members.

• Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment.
• Ability to use power and hand tools.

• Ability to use thermometers, pressure gauges, and other testing devices to evaluate HVAC system.
• Ability to read operation and repair manuals for HVAC systems.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent mechanical skills.
• Excellent communication skills, as required to interact with customer.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational/technical school training or apprenticeship required.
• Two years of related experience preferred.

• Physically able to work on HVAC units.
• Will be required to work in settings with extreme cold or extreme heat, depending on time of year.
• Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, crawling, or climbing ladders.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
