The mission of Speechify is to make sure that reading is never a barrier to learning. Speechify’s text-to-speech products turn PDFs, books, Google Docs, news articles, and websites into audio to help people read faster, read more, and remember more. Our products include the iOS app, Android app, Mac app, Chrome extension, and Web app.

• Opportunity to lead key engineering and product decisions
• Actively shipping production code for the Speechify iOS app
• Work within a dedicated product team
• Participate in product discussions to shape the product roadmap
• Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture

• Experience on products that scaled to a large user base
• Track record of taking products from inception to traction and owning the engineering of the product

• Speed and judgment to ship now while knowing what requires more time
• Ability to work in a high-growth, remote team
• Technical skills:

• Experience with CI/CD infrastructure
• Experience with Fastlane
• SOLID principles and writing well-structured code
• Experience with Git and different Git strategies

Salary: United States-based range for this role is ,000 USD per year plus bonus and stock, depending on experience
