Med Trac is the operational core of our coordinated home care benefits business. It has been in continuous production for more than two decades and processes real operational work for real patients every day. We're hiring a Software Development Engineer in Test to establish and evolve the automated quality engineering systems that give us confidence in every release.

This is a founding role in our quality engineering function. You'll start by getting to know Med Trac hands-on. You'll explore the application, map its business-critical workflows with the people who use and build them, and turn that knowledge into a risk-based regression strategy. Expect meaningful manual testing early on. That work is how we learn what matters, and the explicit goal is to automate as much of it as possible.

We intend to build that automation on an agentic testing platform, one that uses AI to generate tests and to keep them working as the application changes. We haven't chosen that platform yet, and you'll be a core part of the evaluation. From there, you'll build a regression suite that runs in our CI pipeline and post
deployment smoke tests that verify every production release. You'll have real
influence over how quality engineering is done here as the function grows.

• 5+ years of professional experience in software testing or software
  development, including at least 3 years building and maintaining test
  automation
• Experience building a regression strategy or test suite for an existing
  application with limited documentation, starting from exploratory testing rather than a ready-made test plan
