Accounts Receivable Accountant

AR Accountant - Cape Girardeau, MO

LHH is partnering with the corporate office of an aftermarket auto repair/maintenance company in search of an AR Accountant for their Cape Girardeau, MO location. In this role you will handle typical AR and reconciliations activities and work closely with a supportive team committed to success. This direct‑hire position pays between $50,000 and $52,000 annually and is onsite full‑time.

• Cash and bank reconciliations, review of cash payment transactions
• Invoicing, balancing tasks, journal entries and general ledger activities
• Filing sales and used taxes in six states, managing sales tax exemptions

• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably with an emphasis on AR
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required
• Ability to work with large volumes of data, paper documents and manual processes
