Position Summary

Temporary Audio/Visual Technician Show Me Center – Part-Time, Variable Shifts

Position Available/Potential

Primary Responsibilities
  • Physically set up all audio, video, and lighting equipment for events, including connecting cables, configuring settings, and ensuring proper functionality of all components
  • Operate the video board through Live Sync software at SEMO basketball games and other events
  • Operate Tri Caster, an all-in-one integrated video production system, during events
  • Operate video cameras during events
  • Operate spotlights during events
  • Set up and control lighting scenes
  • Troubleshoot issues with audio-visual equipment
  • Work directly with clients to understand their AV needs prior to events
  • Communicate with event organizers and other team members during events
  • Cleaning, inspecting, and performing minor repairs of AV equipment
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • Ability to work evening and weekend shifts
  • A strong understanding of audio, video, and lighting equipment. Prior experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills
  • Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, with or without accommodation
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
