Ignite Pastor

The Ignite Pastor is primarily responsible for leading the college ministry on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University and maintaining its relationship with La Croix church.

The individual filling this position must possess the following skills, abilities, and attitudes in order to perform in this position:

The individual filling this position will be held accountable to the following goals and will be successful in this position if these goals are met:

• College aged people on campus will be growing into wholehearted followers of Jesus.
• Lay persons from La Croix will be fully invested in and taking ownership of the outreach to the college aged people on campus.
• Ignite will be known as a place on campus where students can find the gospel,community, be served and counseled, growand belong.

• Lead the Ignite college ministry at SEMO, providing vision and accountability
• Serve as pastor to students on campus
• Serve as the main communicator at the weekly Ignite worship experience
  
  Serve as a communicator at La Croix cape campus as needed
• Equip the Ignite student leaders to lead various areas of ministry at Ignite
• Invite equip and empower volunteers from La Croix to mentor students
• Identify and develop student leaders
• Identify, develop and maintain relationships with Ignite’s mission partners
• Develop and maintain Ignite’s relationship with SEMO campus and staff
• Collaborate with Ignite’s student leaders to plan Ignite worship experiences and outreach events
• Equip and resource Ignite’s small group ministry
• Oversee and manage Ignite’s budget, facilities and residents
• Lead Ignite’s Operational Team
