Electrical & Instrumentation Field Coordinator
We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Field Coordinator to perform construction coordination for small to moderate assignments at our industrial facility in New Johnsonville, TN. The role is full-time, long‑term, and offers a competitive compensation package including paid time off, health insurance, and retirement contributions. Job SummaryThe position involves commissioning document development, instrument calibration, commissioning plan implementation, testing, and collaboration with project teams to resolve issues and ensure equipment meets design specifications.
Primary Responsibilities- Multi‑task in support of commissioning document development for multiple projects.
- Apply knowledge of process instrumentation (pressure, flow, level, valves, analytical), MCCs, motors, and controls related to commissioning requirements.
- Conduct instrument calibration practices.
- Develop and implement commissioning plans and procedures for electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Ensure equipment is tested according to design specifications and industry standards.
- Interpret company engineering practices and integrate them into commissioning plans.
- Identify and resolve issues or discrepancies during the commissioning process, collaborating with relevant parties.
- Communicate progress, status updates, and any issues to project team members.
- Estimate resource and schedule requirements for commissioning activities.
- Apply engineering principles and industry standards.
- Familiarity with construction activities and practices.
- Perform and document Factory Acceptance Tests for OEM equipment.
- Interface effectively with all levels of the project team.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required;
Bachelor or Master of Science in Construction Science, Building Science, or related field preferred.
Licensing: No licensing required.
Experience: Minimum 5+ years of relevant industrial construction coordination and administration experience.
