Responsibilities

The LVN/LPN performs under the direction of a Registered Nurse in providing nursing care to assigned patients, utilizing basic understanding of psychiatric and personality disorders.

• Education: Graduate from an accredited professional vocational school of nursing.
• Experience: Minimum one (1) year as an LPN/LVN/LPT in psychiatric nursing preferred, with six (6) months experience in behavioral health.
• Licensure: Licensed to practice vocational/practical nursing from the State Board of Nursing.
• Additional Requirements: CPR certification and successful completion of HWC including restraint and seclusion policies, within 30 days of employment and prior to assisting with restraining procedures.
