Certified Medication Technician; CMT Part Time

The Lutheran Home is seeking a dedicated Certified Medication Technician (CMT) for a part-time position. This role administers medications, supports residents' comfort, safety, and well-being, and is part of a caring team that values service, excellence, dignity, and stewardship.

• Administers prescribed medications to residents and maintains related medical records under the supervision of a nurse.
• Takes vital signs or observes residents to detect responses to specified types of medications and prepares reports or notifies designated personnel of any unexpected reactions.
• Assists residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed.
• Answers call lights and takes appropriate action.
• Completes documentation accurately, timely, and in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
• Reviews residents’ care plans and performs nursing care as outlined.
• Performs CNA duties as part of daily responsibilities when not actively administering medications or as directed by the nursing supervisor.

• Evening shifts (7:00pm – 11:00pm)
• Weekend day shifts (12-hr shifts)

Current Missouri CMT certification. Current Missouri CNA certification.
