Role: Med Surg Travel Nurse (RN) responsible for providing patient care in a medical-surgical setting, managing a diverse caseload, administering medications and treatments, and coordinating patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
Responsibilities: Conduct thorough assessments, monitor patient conditions, elevate concerns promptly, and educate patients and families. Handle postoperative care when assigned and ensure safe care transitions.
Qualifications & Skills: Minimum of 2 years recent Med Surg experience, active Missouri RN license, strong assessment skills, and ability to manage acute and chronic conditions effectively.
Key Duties Include- Managing patients with varied medical-surgical conditions
- Administering medications, IV therapy, and treatments
- Coordinating with interdisciplinary teams for admissions and discharges
