Mortgage Field Services Inspector
FAR Inspections is looking for highly motivated individuals to perform residential occupancy verifications on behalf of mortgage lenders in Reno, NV. Independent contractors earn predictable full‑time or supplemental income and enjoy a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities- Complete most inspections in 5‑6 minutes.
- Finish inspection within 4 days after assignment.
- Report general property conditions and determine occupancy per industry standards.
- Take 9+ photos of the property with brief comments.
- Complete a short form in the mobile app.
- Spend extended periods driving across the assigned territory.
- Computer with internet connection.
- Reliable vehicle with good gas mileage.
- Smartphone (Android or iPhone).
- Printer.
- Pass a background check using a valid driver's license.
1099 position. Each inspection has a flat rate that varies by county and volume. Pay ranges approximately $30‑$40 per hour. Work 2‑30 hours per week, 20‑500 inspections per month depending on county. No mileage reimbursement beyond the flat fee per inspection.
