Join Target as an On‑Demand Guest Advocate (Cashier) in Cape Girardeau, MO. Starting hourly rate: $15.50 USD per hour.

As an On‑Demand Team Member, you will create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted in our mobile scheduling app. Reliable and prompt attendance is required. You must work at least one shift every 4 weeks and at least one shift within 5 months; otherwise, employment may be terminated.

• Deliver a service culture that prioritizes guest experience by meeting service standards.
• Greet guests and assist with checkout, scanning, and bagging items efficiently and accurately.
• Explain Target Loyalty programs and enroll guests; provide information on new store activities and services.
• Support order pick‑up, drive‑up, and registry services; maintain compliance with safety and store policies.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe; gather abandoned items, replenish supplies, and perform routine stock duties.
• Work safely with cash, manage cash register operations, and support cash office processes when needed.

• Excellent communication, using positive language and attentive to guests’ needs.
• Ability to remain focused, composed, and efficient in a fast‑moving, physically demanding environment.
• Openness to flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency with hand‑held scanners, point‑of‑sale systems, and mobile scheduling apps.
• Strong teamwork and a willingness to educate and engage with guests and teammates.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 44 pounds.
