What You'll Do:
  • Cold call potential clients and educate them on the benefits of supplemental insurance.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and addressing their insurance needs.
  • Update reports, records, and bookkeeping systems to accurately report progress toward monthly insurance sales goals.
  • Tailor risk management strategies and client profiles to reflect each customer's individual needs.
  • Stay abreast of changes to rules or policies within the insurance agency to effectively amend insurance programs for existing and prospective clients.
  • Implement marketing strategies, including cold calling and networking, to connect with potential clients while simultaneously maintaining a portfolio of current clients.
  • Conduct meetings with new and potential clients and carefully listen to their individual circumstances to present the best insurance policies to meet their needs.
Qualifications:
  • Experience using accounting or sales-related software is beneficial.
  • Willingness to learn about the insurance industry, insurance programs, and state and federal regulations that may impact policyholders.
  • Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is required.
  • Must be a superb communicator able to carefully analyze complex ideas like insurance programs; experience working in customer service is beneficial.
  • Candidates must have or be willing to get an insurance license.

Additional Position

Qualifications:
  • Already licensed in Health & Life general lines (or willing and able to obtain Health & Life producer license – licensing reimbursement offered).
  • Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 4 years of professional work experience. Candidates within 6 months of degree completion or with less than 4 years of experience who have relevant outside sales experience will be considered.
Benefits:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00- $90,000.00 per year
