Position Title:

Lifeguard – Saint Francis Healthcare System

Under the supervision of the Assistant Manager and Aquatics Programmer, the Lifeguard’s primary responsibility is to provide a friendly, safe, and sanitary environment that encourages members to continue using the Fitness Plus facility, improve individual swimming and safety skills, and apply those skills for leisure, recreation, and wellness.

• Type: PRN, As Needed

• High School Diploma – preferred

• American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certification – preferred within 30 days of employment
• Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Certification – preferred
• BLS Certification – required within 45 days of hire if applicant does not already hold an American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certification
