We are seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices, as well as experience with accounting software and financial reporting.

• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date financial records for multiple clients
• Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payments
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filings
• Communicate with clients to address any questions or concerns regarding their financial records
• Collaborate with the accounting team to improve processes and procedures
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry best practices and changes in accounting regulations

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
• Proficient in accounting software, such as Quickbooks or Xero
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
