POSITION: Bookkeeper - Part time
LOCATION: Atlantic Hills

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and supporting month-end and year-end reporting.

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and foreign exchange (Forex) transactions is compulsory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice capturing and reconciliations.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations (local and foreign currency).
  • Manage foreign currency cashbooks and process Forex transactions.
  • Capture and process journals, accruals, and prepayments accurately.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Generate financial reports and provide support to management.
  • Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal teams where necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures.
Compulsory Requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.
  • Experience handling foreign exchange (Forex).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping best practices.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas).
Qualifications & Experience
  • Diploma or Certificate in Accounting/Bookkeeping (advantageous if higher).
  • 3–5 years’ proven experience as a bookkeeper or similar role.
  • Experience working in a multi-currency environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
