Overview
A leading company in Maitland (Cape Town) is looking for a detail-driven Bookkeeper with strong Pastel (V19) expertise to manage the full bookkeeping function up to trial balance. The role demands accuracy, professionalism and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will need to be able to work unusual hours as well as 2 Saturdays per month.
Requirements- Financial qualification
- 3 – 5 years’ bookkeeping experience in a fast-paced environment
- Extensive Pastel V19 experience
- Immediately available
- Own transport
- Monday to Friday: 06:00 - 15:00
- 1st & last Saturday of the month: 06:00 - 10:00
R15,000 – R20,000 (payslip required)
Duties- Full bookkeeping to trial balance
- Processing and reconciling accounts (debtors / creditors / expenses / statements, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Support the finance team with reporting requirements
