Statutory Reporting & Compliance Accountant

If you re a technically strong accountant who enjoys owning the numbers, driving compliance, and ensuring financial reporting stands up to audit scrutiny, this role offers the opportunity to play a key position within a well-established business with both local and international operations.

This role sits at the heart of the finance function, taking ownership of statutory reporting, financial controls, audit management, tax compliance, and General Ledger integrity.

You ll work closely with auditors, tax advisors, international stakeholders, and leadership teams to ensure accurate reporting, strong governance, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

• Ownership of the Trial Balance and General Ledger
• Preparation of monthly financial reporting packs
• Month-end and year-end reporting processes
• Annual Financial Statements in accordance with IFRS
• Management of external audits and audit deliverables
• Corporate tax and VAT compliance
• SARS queries, audits, and regulatory submissions
• Fixed asset management and capital expenditure reporting
• Support of international and cross-border reporting requirements
• Financial controls, governance, and compliance initiatives
• Insurance administration and asset-related reporting
