Junior Bookkeeper - R 20,000pm - Table View, Cape Town

Join a well-established and growing business where you'll play an important role in the day-to-day finance function while building your bookkeeping career. This is a full-time, office-based position offering hands-on exposure, mentorship, and genuine growth opportunities within a high-performing finance team.

• Daily bank processing and dashboard reporting
• Creditors processing, invoice matching, and reconciliations
• Bank and supplier statement reconciliations
• Debtor receipt allocations
• Returns and credit note administration
• Capturing supplier payments and payment preparation
• VAT capture and reconciliation preparation
• Petty cash and cash receipt processing
• Fixed asset register maintenance
• Month-end support and finance administration

All work is reviewed by senior finance staff, requiring a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and accountability.

• Completed or currently studying towards a bookkeeping or accounting qualification (ICB, BCom or similar)
• Minimum 2 years' bookkeeping experience
• Experience with Sage and/or Pastel
• Good Excel skills
• Highly organised, accurate, and deadline-driven
• Strong English communication skills
• Imports, wholesale, or distribution industry experience advantageous
• Own reliable transport
