Debtors Clerk

Career Growth Hospitality Recruitment is looking for an experienced Debtors Clerk to join a busy and fast‑paced hospitality operation in Cape Town. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, detail‑oriented, and enjoys working with numbers while building strong relationships with clients and internal departments.

• Manage the full debtors function and maintain accurate customer accounts
• Prepare and issue invoices, statements, and credit notes
• Follow up on outstanding accounts and ensure collections are made timeously
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve account queries
• Allocate payments accurately and maintain up‑to‑date records
• Prepare debtor age analysis and assist with month‑end reporting
• Work closely with the Finance team and operational departments
• Ensure all debtor records are accurate and compliant with company procedures
• Build and maintain professional relationships with clients

• Previous experience as a Debtors Clerk or in an Accounts Receivable role
• Previous hospitality experience is essential
• Good understanding of debtors, reconciliations, and credit control
• Strong Microsoft Excel and accounting system experience
• Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Well organised with a proactive approach
