Bookkeeper / Financial Administrator required in Cape Town.
A well-established and prestigious wine estate in Constantia is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper / Financial Administrator to join its finance team.
This hands‑on role is ideal for a highly organised, detail-oriented professional who enjoys taking ownership of the full bookkeeping function across multiple business entities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and financial administration
- Process and reconcile transactions between POS systems and Xero
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Bank, creditor, credit card and intercompany reconciliations
- Payroll processing (weekly wages and monthly salaries)
- VAT, EMP
201 and journal processing - Prepare monthly management reports
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes
- Liaise with external accountants, auditors and service providers
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
Requirements:
- Relevant bookkeeping, accounting or finance qualification
- Minimum 3 years’ bookkeeping experience
- Strong working knowledge of Xero (essential)
- Payroll processing experience
- Excellent reconciliation and financial administration skills
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience working across multiple entities will be advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
