Technical Junior Cost Accountant - R30 000 CTC

Airport City, Cape Town

This role is ideal for a candidate who enjoys working with numbers, manufacturing processes, costing systems, and operational analysis in a fast-paced production environment.

Minimum requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Cost & Management Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CIMA qualification will be advantageous
• 1-2 years' experience in a manufacturing or technical environment advantageous
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Knowledge of ERP systems and inventory control advantageous
• Experience working with the Pastel Evolution package
• Assist with product costing and margin analysis
• Monitor raw material, labour, and production costs
• Support monthly stock counts and inventory reconciliations
• Analyse variances between actual and standard costs
• Prepare costing reports and operational financial analysis
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and costing databases
