Are you a detail-driven Accounts Assistant with excellent cashbook, bank reconciliation and payroll support experience? My client is looking for a reliable accounts assistant who enjoys working in a busy environment and takes pride in her/his work

• Capture daily bank transactions accurately.
• Maintain cashbooks for multiple bank accounts.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Process supplier payments, customer receipts and bank charges.
• Allocate transactions to the correct accounts and cost centres.
• Assist with creditors and debtorsâ reconciliations.
• Prepare month-end schedules and supporting documentation.
• Assist with payroll administration and payroll-related tasks.
• Provide audit and tax documentation when required.
• Liaise with banks, suppliers, customers and internal departments.
• Provide administrative support to the Accountant and Financial Manager.

• Matric with Accounting or Bookkeeping.
• Bookkeeping or Accounting qualification will be advantageous.
• Minimum 2-3 years' bookkeeping or accounts experience.
• Solid cashbook and bank reconciliation experience.
• Payroll administration experience.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience working on accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
