Payroll Administrator - Payroll Administrator based in Atlantis, Western Cape

Tasks

RESPONSIBILITY AREAS INCLUDE:

• Preparation and verification of payroll data for the purpose of ensuring accurate and timely payments for Atlantis Foundries employees.
• Maintain system configurations including earning codes, leave rules and GL mappings
• Balance and reconcile payroll related payments and deductions to reports produced via the payroll systems prior to transmission to validate confirmed reports
• Drafting, review and implementation of Payroll procedures and controls
• Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, laws and legislation
• SARS submissions and reconciliations, incl. EMP
  501 and IRP5’s
• Statutory payments, and providing of information
• Timely review and sign off on required payroll and tax reconciliations
• Employee support:
  Ensure timeous feedback to queries and issues
• Accurate and timeous Management information
• Accurate validation and import of hours, shifts and leave information
• Employee, auditor, service provider liaison
• Ad-hoc Tasks

Desired Qualifications and Requirements :

• Completed National Diploma (NQF Level
  6) or a Degree in HR, Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in managing and attending to Payroll
• Strong knowledge of South African payroll legislation, including PAYE, UIF and SDL
• SAGE 300 People experience and certification Planning (deadline driven)
• Analytical and strong reconciliation skills
• Computer Literate: MS Excel, MS Word
