Senior Accountant

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Accountant to join a well-established multinational company based in Cape Town.

We’re looking for a newly qualified CA(SA) eager to grow within a dynamic accounting environment, or a candidate with completed SAIPA articles and at least 5 years’ experience who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.

• Team player who can also plan, coordinate, and lead to meet strict deadlines
• Proven ability to manage accounting figures and financial records
• Sound understanding of procurement processes (from PO to payment) – an advantage
• Knowledge of internal controls within a multinational subsidiary environment

• Manage the Fixed Asset Register, including CAPEX planning and depreciation
• Perform Work in Progress (WiP) calculations
• Handle IFRS 16 reporting and reconciliations
• Conduct payroll reconciliations and related provisions
• Oversee inventory movement and Cost of Sales (CoS) analysis
• Manage VAT and Income Tax compliance
• Ensure adherence to statutory requirements
• Prepare and review management accounts and support month-end processes
