Financial Accountant

An exciting opportunity for a detail-driven Accountant to play a key role in ensuring accurate financial accounting, reporting, and operational excellence within a dynamic financial services team.

• Contribute to the smooth running of day-to-day financial operations
• Work closely with the Financial Manager on reporting, audits, and strategic projects
• Be part of a collaborative environment focused on accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement

• Process weekly cashbooks for local and foreign accounts; perform bank reconciliations
• Manage weekly revenue processing and monthly debtor reconciliations
• Liaise with the commissions department to resolve related queries
• Prepare bi-monthly supplier payment schedules and review creditor reconciliations
• Execute payments on the banking platform
• Process monthly payroll and collaborate with the payroll department on issues
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany accounts
• Maintain and update monthly budgets
• Prepare monthly management accounts and handle related queries
• Respond to internal and external stakeholder requests and queries
• Assist with projects and annual audit pack preparation
